Why should you study food engineering?
The consumer is increasingly demanding food products that are easy to prepare or consume, safe, with adequate sensory characteristics and biological properties beyond nutritional ones. The Food Engineer from the Universidad de los Andes is called to design new food products with a high added value, safe, sustainable, functional, nutritious and competitive at national and international levels, through the use of innovative, efficient and environmentally friendly processes.
