• Undergraduate Academic Program in Chemical Reopening
Duration: 5 years, emphasis on process design.

• Opening of chemical engineering laboratories at the Center for Innovation and Technological Development ‘CITEC’.

• Curricular Reform
4-year syllabus, emphasis on process and product design.
Learning spaces where theory and practice are integrated.
Creation of the GDPP Research Group, with emphasis on: Biological Engineering, Advanced Materials, Product and Process Design

• Inauguration of the laboratories in the new Mario Laserna building.
With an investment for new laboratory equipment of 1.3 million dollars.

• Beginning of the International Accreditation Process.
• Obtaining High Quality Accreditation for the undergraduate program before the National Council of Accreditation
